CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE MASTERCLASS
Spread the Christmas cheer with a festive chocolate masterclass packed full of learning, techniques and tips to take home alongside everything that you make on the day.
Immerse yourself in the world of chocolate, tasting, tempering and moulding your way to sweet success. With the expert guidance of Jon Hogan, an experienced chocolatier, bean-to-bar chocolate maker, and pastry chef, you’ll leave our chocolate masterclass with all the skills and knowledge to create delicious treats at home.
The day will start with a chocolate-y Cookery School breakfast, followed by a chocolate tasting, taking you on the journey of the humble cocoa bean. The tasting will include top brands such as Original Beans.
You will then learn the techniques necessary to make your own truffles and a range of different chocolates, which will include a range of fillings which you will use and how to fill and pipe your chocolates. You will have a chance to catch your breath over a delicious Cookery School lunch and a glass of organic wine. After lunch you will reinforce the skills acquired during the morning by making your own chocolate Christmas gifts. At the end of the class you’ll be able to box up and take home everything you have made.
