Our founder, Rosalind Rathouse, is putting over 50 years of teaching to perfect use and helping to demystify cooking with interactive cooking classes that remove jargon and celebrate good home cooking skills.
It’s the ideal way to use your time at home to master specific techniques such as learning how to make perfect puff pastry from scratch, bake bread, master classic sauces such as bechamel, create light and fluffy souffles or transform egg whites into delicate meringues and macarons. Alternatively, if you want to treat your family with a fabulous three course meal, Rosalind can work with you on the planning, timing and skills to create an unforgettable experience.
Rosalind believes that with proper teaching and by virtually letting her into your kitchen, she will be able enthuse even unconfident cooks. She will bring her enthusiasm for teaching and her love of food into your home so you can learn at your own pace and benefit from one to one sessions with her.
Silvia had never made puff pastry before but by the end of her interactive class with Rosalind she produced a range of wonderful pastries including golden palmiers and a delicious tomato and anchovy tart.
