While all Cookery School events are run with sustainability front of mind, we’re taking it one step further with our sustainable event package. It combines the confidence-building cooking of a Cookery School corporate event with a unique look at the environmental issues affecting our food today.

Attendees will create delicious dishes that minimise waste and use less meat, while learning about sustainability concepts such as carbon footprints, sourcing ingredients and seasonality. It’s a very ‘hands on’ event that’s informative, interactive and full of wonderful tips and tricks for your team to take away.

With sustainability becoming more important to businesses across the UK, now’s the time to see it in action! Visitors will learn how small changes can make a huge difference, arming themselves with the knowledge and skills to take best practice back into the workplace and home.

As with all our corporate events, your team will be welcomed with a drink and nibbles, before being divided into groups to start cooking. At the end, everyone will sit down to feast, accompanied by a glass of sustainable wine.

The cost for this day includes all recipes, an intensive ‘hands on’ teaching experience and a glass of English sparkling wine on arrival. Of course, all equipment and aprons are also provided for the event.

Our packages

Gold event - £170 per person plus VAT

  • A four-hour class, where attendees work together to prepare a pre-agreed, bespoke three-course meal for the group using organic and sustainable ingredients
  • Upon arrival at Cookery School, attendees are welcomed with a glass of fizz and nibbles
  • Teams come together to cook, creating a meal to share
  • The kitchen is transformed into a restaurant-style setting with linen clad tables and dimmed lights, changing the ambience of the commercial kitchen
  • We’ll sit down to reveal the secrets of sustainability, explaining why concepts like sustainable fishing, proper food waste and plastic use is important, while also exploring the practices you can take into your everyday lives
  • The whole group sits down to enjoy the meal they have prepared themselves, served by Cookery School staff, with a selection of carefully matched organic wines
  • Post-meal teas and coffees are served along with petits fours, also made in the class

 

Silver event - £140 per person plus VAT

  • A three-hour class, where attendees work together to prepare a pre-agreed, bespoke three-course meal for the group using organic and sustainable ingredients
  • Upon arrival at Cookery School, attendees are welcomed with a glass of organic wine and nibbles
  • Teams come together to cook, creating a meal to share
  • We’ll sit down to reveal the secrets of sustainability, explaining why concepts like sustainable fishing, proper food waste and plastic use is important, while also exploring the practices you can take into your everyday lives.
  • The whole group sits down to an informal lunch/dinner, enjoying the meal they have prepared themselves, served back to them by Cookery School staff, with a selection of organic wines
