We have put in place a number of physical, electronic, and managerial safeguarding procedures to secure the information we collect online.
COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
When you make a purchase through our website, we collect some personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, address and telephone number, for the purposes of contacting customers in relation to orders.

We do utilise the services of third-party provider software to provide services to you and that can involve the sharing of some of your information which may be hosted on third-party servers outside the UK. A list of third-party services that we use are:
- Campaign Monitor to send you transactional emails about your orders. You will also receive email newsletters if you have signed up to our database. You may unsubscribe from our email newsletters at any time.
- WordPress – our website hosting platform.
- WooCommerce – our E-commerce platform as a plugin on WordPress
- PayPal – system for taking payment online either through logging in to your own customer account or making card payments
- Worldpay – system for taking card payments online and over the telephone
- Google Analytics – we use Google Analytics to collect information about visitor behaviour on our website. Google Analytics stores information about what pages are visited, how long is spent on the site, how visitors got here and what they click on. This Analytics data is collected via a tracking tag in the pages of our site and is not tied to personally identifiable information
We have vetted the security of these services as being of good quality. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these companies on their websites. If you do not wish your details to be shared in this capacity, you must tell us at the time of booking with us.
Cookery School at Little Portland Street does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.
To place an order with Cookery School at Little Portland Street, you must provide your name, billing address, phone number and email address. We create a name label for all attendees using your first name. The billing address is required for online payments to be processed. Your phone number and email address are required to be able to make contact in the event of any changes to classes or courses you have signed up to and for sending booking confirmation. For cookery classes and courses you will also be asked to inform us of any food allergies.

Cookery School at Little Portland Street does not use or disclose any personal information without your explicit consent. You may, at any time, request to see, or request changes to, the information that we hold on you by calling our office on 0207 631 4590, however formal identification may be required.
We will only disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Cookery School at Little Portland Street or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Cookery School at Little Portland Street; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Cookery School at Little Portland Street or the public.
DO YOU KEEP MY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DETAILS ON FILE?
We do not keep any records of your credit/debit card details within our organisation in any form, either written, electronically or in a database. Once you enter your details online, the transaction is processed via our payment processer and no details are recorded by us.
When you place an order with us over the telephone, your credit/debit card details are processed entered directly into the PDQ machine and there is no record of your financial details retained by our organisation.
