SALES & NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 

Cookery School at Little Portland Street, an award winning cookery school based in Central London, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales & New Business Development Manager with knowledge of food. Primarily, the role is to gain new business leads, sell and manage corporate events. The person appointed will be responsible for maintaining the solid standing that we have established over the past fifteen years.

 

 

This role requires:

 

A person with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in client interfacing and selling

 

Proactively sell corporate events and generate new business leads

 

Ability to provide relevant information in a timely manner to corporate and consumer enquiries and the ability to convert enquiries into bookings

 

Ability to ensure that the quality of service that has been developed over the past 15 years at Cookery School will be maintained

 

Knowledge of computer programmes to check website bookings, print off recipe packs, do necessary invoicing and handle email enquiries

 

Delivering against business objectives and targets that appointed person will be responsible for setting

 

Managing the organisation of events through from enquiry to execution

 

Ability to liaise and work with the rest of the team from admin function through to supplying kitchen with accurate and complete bookings information

 

 

You will need to be:

 

An enthusiastic, energetic go-getter with a can-do attitude

 

Numerate and have strong analytical capability

 

Efficient, prompt & very organised

 

Available to work the occasional evening to network with prospective clients

 

 

A salary of £30K – 35K depending on experience

Lunch is provided every day and you are welcome to join any classes you like
