EXPERIENCED COOKERY TEACHERS

 

Cookery School at Little Portland Street, is an award-winning cookery school based in Central London. We celebrated our 20^th birthday this year and pride ourselves on teaching good home cooking. Having survived the trials of the lockdowns, we are regathering and need a dynamic, experienced, full time Head of Teaching and other cookery teachers to join our team.

 

 

Essential skills and requirements:

 

You are looking to establish a career as a cookery teacher and do not see this as a temporary role. You would be joining a company with strong staff retention values.

 

You need the ability to teach a range of different techniques, cuisines and a good understanding of food sourcing and sustainability.

 

You need confidence and enthusiasm with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in an educational or similar establishment.

 

You need the ability to work on your own and instil culinary confidence in those that are learning.

 

You will take responsibility for ensuring that classes run in accordance with our Cookery School ethos and report directly to our founder.

 

The role will encompass liaising and working with the rest of our team in the kitchen and in our admin office.

 

 

For both head of teaching and other teaching roles, salaries are commensurate with experience. We are known for our fair remuneration policies and flexible working environment.
