Did you know we host Hen and Stag parties?
As spring commences, so does the beginning of the new wedding season. If you’re looking to plan an outstanding cooking hen or stag party, we can eliminate all the hassle and offer a truly remarkable experience.
Our parties are perfect for a food-loving bride or groom-to-be. You can select one of our packages below or we can create something totally bespoke, often these are based on the bride or groom to be’s favourite meal. We are really good at even creating recipes that evoke special memories for hens or stags.
Whether you want to gather your hens or stags for a chocolate-making wedding favour session or for a meat cooking class, we can design a private cooking party that caters to specific dietary needs and preferences.
Not only will you and your guests have great fun, they’ll go away with some culinary skills to use at home, again and again.
What’s in our hen and stag party packages
We offer a choice of two packages
- A 3 hour class, where the stags or hens work together to prepare a pre-agreed three-course meal for the group OR a 2 hour class, where attendees work together to prepare a pre-agreed two-course meal for the group.
- Upon arrival at Cookery School, your group are welcomed with a glass of organic fizz with the three course package or a glass of organic wine with the two course package and nibbles.
- The whole group sits down around the Cookery School table to enjoy having the meal they have prepared themselves, served restaurant style by Cookery School staff. A selection of organic Vintage Roots wines are served with the meal.

We always include some challenging techniques so that everyone leaves feeling they have really achieved something, as well as having had a wonderful, relaxed and fun experience.
