The BIG launch: The Cookery School Handbook

To celebrate The Cookery School Handbook launch we invited our nearest and dearest to come along and enjoy an evening of chopping, stirring, cooking and of course – eating! Our cherished suppliers and much loved supporters gathered in our kitchen on Little Portland Street where we collectively created dishes from the Handbook.

It was full on as we had people making choux pastry, others making aioli, potato fritters and then cupcakes and apple pie for dessert. We mingled over fresh-out-of-the-oven cheese straws and mackerel fishcakes with beetroot relish and later enjoyed the fruits of our labour around a linen clad long table, sharing food and stories.

Our suppliers came from all over (not that far because they’re all local to us!) and even donated items to make up a memorable and generous goody bag!

Thanks to everyone who came and all who have supported us. We’re so proud to have been able to release a Handbook that encourages sustainable home cooking with simple to create recipes.

The Cookery School Handbook is available to buy here.
