Cookery School has always used the finest chocolates and after today’s masterclass you will leave us armed with a few boxes of handmade chocolates and the skill and confidence to replicate them at  home and surprise friends and family with professional looking Christmas gifts.

After our special Cookery School breakfast, followed by a chocolate tasting, which will include top brands such as Original Beans, Amadei and Valrhona as well as some of the more popular everyday brands to understand what makes for the best chocolate, you will roll up your sleeves to indulge in a day of chocolate making. As well as having the opportunity to see chocolate being made from bean to bar, you will  learn the techniques necessary to make your own truffles, understand and practise tempering and then make  your own moulded and filled chocolates. You will be over your head in chocolate and understand the techniques involved in producing beautiful, glossy chocolate.   In the middle of the day you will have a chance to catch your breath over a Cookery School lunch and then continue reinforcing the chocolate making skills acquired during the morning so that you have a stash of wonderful chocolates to take home.

  • to mould chocolates
  • filling and piping of chocolates
  • to make Christmas tree decorations
