In this wonderful British baking class you will learn a variety of baking techniques from breads to cakes. We will also explore sandwich fillings, jams, and curds to complement our creations. These will all form the basic elements of the famed British high tea.

At the end of the course we will sit down to enjoy our feast. A glass of British sparkling wine and Tregothnan Cornish tea will accompany the meal.


You Will Learn To Make:


  • a range of sandwiches from egg mayonnaise, cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon and crab sandwiches all on
  • different homemade breads and all using best of British, locally sourced ingredients
  • the lightest of scones to be served with homemade jam (you will learn how to make this too) and clotted cream
  • mini cheese and herb scones
  • Devonshire cream cake (the lightest of sponges filled with whipped cream and topped with an Original Beans ganache)
  • mini mince pies
  • small Christmas fruit cake
  • mini scotch eggs
